We all know we need to change the oil in our car regularly. But why? It’s simple: the engine is made up of many parts that move when it’s running. Engine oil helps prevent movement and friction from causing the engine to overheat (we don’t want that!) by absorbing this heat and lubricating the components.

Makes sense, right? During an oil change, we remove the old oil from the engine and replace it with new oil. We also replace the oil filter and perform a visual inspection.
